The ring is on, and everyone wants to celebrate. An engagement party is often the first time both families and your friends share one room, so it helps to have a relaxed space with good food and drinks flowing. Galati's is right in Cary, close to Lake in the Hills, Crystal Lake and Island Lake.
Room Two (50 to 60) and the Catwalk (up to 70) each come with a full bar, which suits a cocktail-style evening. For a long guest list, the first-floor Fireplace Room holds up to 80 and the whole top floor up to 150. Keep it light with an appetizer package, or go all in with a create-your-own buffet.

Come on in: Galati's is fully accessible, with an elevator to the upstairs rooms, and there's plenty of free parking. Every party includes 4 hours of room time with no room fee ($200 for each extra hour), every room has sound and TV hookups, every banquet package includes white linen tablecloths and black linen napkins, and our banquet rooms are open 7 days a week: Monday–Wednesday 11 AM–11:30 PM, Thursday–Saturday 11 AM–midnight and Sunday 11 AM–10 PM. Your final headcount is due 72 hours before the event.

- Create-your-own buffet: $28, $31 or $36 per person, with salad, pastas, entrées and an assorted mini dessert tray

Which room works best for an engagement party?
Room Two (50 to 60) and the Catwalk (up to 70) each have a full bar, great for a cocktail-style party. Bigger groups can use the first-floor Fireplace Room (up to 80) or the whole top floor (up to 150).
Can we do appetizers instead of a full dinner?
Yes. Appetizer packages are $19 for 3 choices or $21 for 4 choices per person. Package prices are per person and exclude tax and 20% gratuity. There's no room fee for the first 4 hours ($200 per extra hour), a 25-guest minimum, and kids under 12 are half price.
Can we have a champagne toast?
Yes. A champagne punch bowl is $89. You can also choose a 3-hour wine-and-beer package ($20 or $23 per person) or full-bar package ($24, $28 or $36 per person) for guests 21 and older.
Can we bring our own cake or desserts?
Yes. Bring a store-bought cake or desserts, and we'll plate and serve them for free.
